District staff presented several routine budget transfers for committee approval on Oct. 22 designed to align grant accounts and make funds available in the correct spending lines.
Miss Marin presented interfunction transfers for grant management and described them as routine, noting alignment of out-of-school-time funds. Miss Hicks presented 10 interfunction transfers in the operational fund totaling $536,000, seven of which were funded from at-risk funds and three from general funds. Later in the agenda Miss Hicks presented intrafunction transfers described on the record as approximately $2,900,000 in operational funds, $659,000 in ad valorem funds, about $2,500 in facility enterprise funds and $5,200,000 in capital funds.
Board members asked clarifying questions about particular professional-development allocations; staff said they would follow up with details on recipients. The transfers were included in the consent package the committee recommended to the full board.
