City staff introduced a new public strategic‑plan dashboard that displays quarterly performance indicators tied to the council’s goals and the city’s strategic plan.
Mister Davis (strategic‑plan staff) demonstrated the dashboard’s features: users can click council goals to view linked department tactics and KPIs, see workforce tenure breakdowns, review IT ticketing system implementation and monitor public‑safety metrics such as response times and use‑of‑force incidents. The city populated initial quarter data and noted that the dashboard is a living document; departments will update metrics each quarter.
Staff asked council and residents to review the dashboard for accuracy and report errors. The dashboard is accessible via the city website and will be updated quarterly. Departments plan to add additional visualizations (for example, ticket resolution times for IT issues) as data collection stabilizes.
This launch was informational; no council action was taken other than accepting the demonstration.
