The Redmond Planning Commission voted Oct. 22 to approve its recommendation on the general government portion of the Capital Facilities Plan 2050 and to approve the report to City Council. Chair Weston called for two motions: first to approve the commission's recommendation, and then to approve the report that will be transmitted to the council. Both motions were moved and seconded and passed by voice vote.
The commission recorded unanimous support at the meeting; one commissioner (Commissioner Copley) was excused. Staff said the recommendation and report reflect prior planning-commission discussions and an issues matrix captured during previous review cycles. The report will be transmitted to City Council for study-session review in mid-January and will accompany later Council consideration of the broader Capital Facilities Plan.
