The Oshkosh Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee voted unanimously on Oct. 27 to cancel its December meeting.
A member moved to cancel the meeting and a second was recorded; the committee then conducted a roll call and recorded ayes from the members present. Committee members recorded on the roll call included Crimp, Kanak, Bulow and Toman; the chair said staff would remove the meeting from the calendar and send notifications to avoid confusion.
The committee had previously approved its Sept. 22 minutes earlier in the meeting. The session closed with a brief roundtable of community announcements and a motion to adjourn, which passed by voice vote.
