Chair Katie Bridal said the event historically took place on a university campus but moved off campus for accessibility. "Location is still set as Jeff's catering," a member noted, and Bridal encouraged members to consider how the committee could support outreach, transportation and education efforts tied to the event.
Members suggested practical, limited commitments such as staffing a table, helping with transportation for participants who travel from other towns, or sharing informational materials about the committee—s work. No formal vote was taken; members asked Vice Chair Boyse to continue coordinating with the NAACP and report updates at future meetings.
