Lowndes County commissioners voted to accept public infrastructure for the Landings Phase 4 subdivision, located off Vowdell Road and consisting of 52 residential lots.
Public Works staff reported that construction and paperwork are complete and that engineering and utility divisions conducted final inspections. The county accepted roads, rights-of-way, stormwater infrastructure, and water and sewer infrastructure for the phase.
The developer requested acceptance and staff said the site contractor was Reams and Sun Construction. A motion to approve acceptance was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
Acceptance places the infrastructure under county maintenance and is a standard step following final inspections and dedication by the developer.
