Fishers board approves routine contracts, equipment purchases and sewer financing steps

The Fishers City board on Oct. 28 approved a package of routine municipal actions including an encroachment agreement for outdoor dining, release of an older secured‑real‑estate lien, procurement of equipment, and initial financing steps for a sewer project.

The board approved an encroachment agreement to allow an outdoor dining area for a business identified in the record as "King Doug," with a condition that the area be restored to its prior condition if outdoor dining ceases. Staff said the encroachment does not affect existing parking and noted related site work and variances are being pursued separately.

Also approved was the release of a secondary lien placed in 2009 under an account management/development agreement for the Saxony area.
