Perkins also told commissioners the park store had been operating on a credit-card-only basis since opening but sales data indicate the store needs to accept cash. He said he will request a petty cash policy mirroring animal-control procedures with a $100 starting balance for change and recordkeeping; deposits above petty-cash thresholds would follow normal procedures.
Perkins said he will ask for a resolution at the next meeting and that staff should document insurance and indemnification terms before installation.
