Seaford Police Department recognizes multiple promotions

Chief Marshall Craft used the Oct. 28 meeting to recognize and introduce recently promoted Seaford Police Department personnel.
Craft said Valerie Horn was promoted to lieutenant on May 19 and noted her 20 years of service. He introduced staff sergeant Toby Lorian (promoted June 9), sergeant Kyle Jones (promoted Sept. 15; 10 years with the department), Sgt. Joe Palm (promoted Sept. 15 after two back‑to‑back promotions) and Ashlyn Hair (joined in 2019 and promoted to sergeant). Craft noted several of the promoted officers serve on the department's SWAT team and in training roles.
Council members offered congratulations and the assembled officers were recognized at the meeting. No council action or vote was required; the presentation was ceremonial.
