Departments including police, public works and engineering reviewed the proposed route and raised no operational objections, but staff said the club must obtain formal permission from the two private-property owners (one parcel associated with the National Guard and one nearby business).
Staff also noted existing infrastructure in the area — berms, culverts and fill — and said the stretch on park property is “high and dry” and could accommodate grooming equipment. Staff said the club has already contacted the private property owners but that approval is being requested on the condition that those permissions are secured.
A motion to approve the reroute on that condition was made and seconded; commissioners recorded ayes and the motion carried.
