Stuart approves lease amendment for properties at 301 Southeast Ocean Boulevard to align tenant move-out dates

The City Commission approved Resolution No. 104-2025, authorizing execution of a lease amendment for tenants at 301 Southeast Ocean Boulevard that allows termination of those leases in 2028 so staff can relocate in accordance with prior commission actions.
City Manager Mike Mortel explained the amendment: Bowman had already executed an amendment, and Florida Cancer Specialists provided a fourth amendment that leaves lease terms the same while foregoing future options and agreeing to vacate by February 2028 so relocation planning can proceed. Commissioners moved and seconded approval; the motion passed on roll call with all voting in favor.
The resolution directs staff to proceed with relocation planning consistent with previously authorized commission direction and with the amended lease termination dates.
