Joint Services reports $112,000 city share increase and pursues state 9‑1‑1 grants

Wilson said the state opened funding for 9‑1‑1 center upgrades and Kenosha has submitted grant applications for technology projects. He noted that for a 2025 9‑1‑1 upgrade project the state provided approximately $400,000 and local matches reduced city and county costs.
The committee did not take a separate vote on Joint Services in this session but directed staff to continue pursuing grant opportunities and to present detailed budget materials for Finance Committee review.
