AJ Jaffe, the property manager, told the committee the site was locked by insurance after a fire and the landlord is submitting a demolition permit and intends to rebuild. Julie Cholak and Kelly Dean (operator/agent) described plans to reconstruct and, if feasible, operate from a temporary structure as early as March next year. The district alderperson expressed support for maintaining the license to allow continuity while reconstruction proceeds.

Committee action: motion carried to maintain the license for 180 days; committee noted that transfer of the license could be entertained once an establishment is re-established on the property.
