Sun City Foundation says it helped 94 residents this year through Neighbors Helping Neighbors program

McIntyre summarized the foundation’s eligibility rules: applicants must meet an age requirement, be property owners, be members in good standing for three years, occupy the home as their sole residence, have assessments not more than 60 days past due, and have household income at or below 150% of the current federal poverty level. Applications undergo personal interviews and eligibility review; approved assessment payments are made directly to the RCSC.
She said the foundation has helped 94 residents so far this year, credited recent donations and a grant from Desert Diamond Casino for supporting that work, and encouraged member and club donations and participation in fundraising events. McIntyre noted the foundation is a supporting organization under the tax code and that donations are generally tax‑deductible.
