Google said he has never exceeded the current policy and estimated that this year he had stayed about "approximately a hundred and 29" days. He warned that reducing the permitted stay length would likely shift visitor spending "to another town" and said, "I just wanna hope that you'll consider keeping the 180 days so we can stay close to our family's friends." He also said he and other visitors enjoy community events at the park and find it "perfect and affordable."
Council did not discuss the item at length during public comment; Google spoke during the public-comment portion of the meeting and the transcript shows no immediate council action in response to his remarks.
