Announcement: Free park-and-ride for Santa Fe Halloween events Friday

Santa Fe is offering a free park-and-ride for two Halloween events this Friday. Organizers say drivers can park at Santa Fe Place Mall where families can trick-or-treat and then board a free shuttle to the GCCC for additional activities.

Pickup for the shuttle will be in the south parking lot behind JCPenney at Santa Fe Place Mall. The announcement advises that alternate parking and traffic changes will be in effect at and around the GCCC during the event. All event traffic is asked to enter and exit the GCCC area via the Rodeo Road and Richards Avenue stoplight and follow Brenner Way behind the Rodeo Grounds. A no-left-turn sign will be posted at the top of the GCCC lot exit.

The Santa Fe Police Department will be on site to help maintain safety and traffic flow during the events.
