Chris Pettit presented a resolution to appoint Emily Hawkins to serve as a code enforcement officer for planning and zoning matters. "This is an item that is sort of a formality, it is, required by our code to actually authorize, our, our planner Emily Hawkins to, serve as code enforcement for planning and zoning related items," Pettit said.
Council moved and seconded the resolution and approved it by voice vote. The appointment authorizes Hawkins to work with other code-enforcement staff on enforcing planning and zoning regulations and is intended to formalize an existing staff function.
