Red Bluff council approves consent agenda including closed-session minutes and contract awards

The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Councilmember Mark Clement and seconded by Councilmember Pat Burton. Councilmember Clement, Councilmember Hurdon and Mayor Pro Tem JR Gonzalez voted yes. Councilmember Cody Strzok was absent and Mayor Chris Diders was excused from the meeting.
City attorney Anita clarified the city's closed-session reporting practice during the meeting: "We report out of closed session if there is any action taken. If there is an action taken, we also report who made the motion, who made the second, and what the vote was as required under the Brown Act." The council recorded no separate closed-session action in the public minutes for this consent item.
The approved consent items will be reflected in the official minutes and the listed contract awards will proceed as described in the agenda packet.
