Staff reported the project had not yet been advertised for bid; a tentative advertisement date provided in procurement materials was Dec. 28, with bids due in February if that timeline holds. Staff recommended a workshop to allow engineers and the consultant to present details and answer council and public questions before any scope change is pursued.
Council members requested staff follow up with the engineer and consultant and the clerk offered to schedule a workshop date; no formal action to change the project scope was taken at the meeting.
