Board approves county contract with Crows Nest Ranch to restore in-person substance-use services in Truckee

Jordan and Brianna Minor, co-founders of Crows Nest Ranch, described the organization's origins as community-based peer support groups that expanded to clinical offerings and formal licensing. Brianna Minor said the clinic provides partial-hospitalization programs (up to 30 hours/week), intensive outpatient programs (9 to 20 hours/week) and outpatient services, and plans to expand peer support and crisis services.
After public comment and board discussion commending the provider and county staff assistance in the certification process, the board moved, seconded and approved the contract by roll call (District 1 absent). The county will execute contracting and oversee program implementation through the Behavioral Health Department; no additional details on contract amount were provided in the verbal record.
