Dickenson County supervisors reappoint members to behavioral‑health and regional authorities

The Dickenson County Board of Supervisors reappointed Cathy Harrison and Bobby Hammonds to county boards and approved the reappointment of Dinah Concat to the Lonesome Pine Regional Industrial Facilities Authority during its Sept. 23, 2025 meeting.

The board opened nominations for two vacancies on the Behavioral Health Services Board. Cathy Harrison was nominated for a three‑year term and, after nominations were closed, the board voted by voice to reappoint her. The board then nominated and reappointed Bobby Hammonds as an at‑large Behavioral Health Services Board member for a final term; the nominations were closed and the board approved the reappointment by voice vote.

The board also considered the county’s seat on the Lonesome Pine Regional Industrial Facilities Authority. The board noted that the administrator and the economic development director typically serve on the authority; Dinah Concat was nominated to a four‑year term and the board approved the nomination by voice vote.
