The vote followed an update from Jeremy White, who told commissioners county crews have been working since Monday and are “spending about $20,000 a day, with our 2 dozers and 3 graders and 3 or 4 additional staff members” to clear roads where snow reached five to six feet. White said crews have made about 10 miles of progress so far but face roughly 900 miles of local access roads in the county.
