• Streetlight repairs request: A motion directing the mayor to request MassDOT repair damaged streetlight poles on Winthrop Parkway (Route 145) at Short Beach passed on council action; Councilor McKenna presented the motion citing exposed wiring and public-safety concerns.
• Trash barrels: A motion requesting the DPW install trash barrels at several locations along Revere Street, and to replace a dilapidated barrel at Paul Revere School, passed on council action.
• Other approvals and recognitions: The council recorded routine appointments from the mayor and awarded certificates of commendation to the Revere Youth Cheerleading U-12 team for a national runner-up finish.
