NFP board discusses draft guidance and plans joint training with planning commission and ZBA

Staff opened an NFP Board works session on a draft NFP Guide and invited members to provide written feedback. Noam (staff) said the guide is intended to lower barriers to understanding the NFP ordinance and related review processes and asked members to email comments if they preferred.
Staff also reminded members of a planned joint training session with the Planning Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals, and encouraged attendance to better understand interboard relationships and procedural interactions. Director Martin and other members reported that previous joint trainings had been informative and useful.
Staff said the guide will be refined based on board comments and brought to a future meeting for finalization.
