Commission approves waiver of reversion for Century South Riverport lots; several appointments read for later consideration

The Hamilton County Commission approved Resolution 10‑25‑41 on Oct. 29, 2025, authorizing the county mayor to execute a waiver of reversion and to approve re‑subdivision and development as to specific property documents for Lots 3 and 4 in Century South Riverport Industrial Park (previously referenced as Resolution 10‑25‑34).

The motion was made by Commissioner Graham and seconded by Commissioner Shipley. The clerk conducted a roll‑call vote; the roll‑call sequence in the record shows affirmative votes recorded as follows: Mister Beck (Yes); Mister Johnson (Yes); Mister Eversole (Yes); Mister Graham (Yes); Mister Hilton (Yes); Doctor Mackey (Yes); Mister Sharp (Yes); Mister Shipley (Yes); Mister Chairman Smith (Yes). The motion was approved.

The commission clerk also read a slate of appointment and appropriation resolutions that were scheduled for future consideration (11‑25‑1 through 11‑25‑9). Items included acceptance of notary applications (11‑25‑1); appointments to the Hamilton County Industrial Development Board, Citizens Advisory Board for Recreation, Regional Health Council and Board of Zoning Appeals (11‑25‑2 through 11‑25‑8); and a small appropriation of $1,000 from a district discretionary travel fund to Launchpad (1125‑9). Several of those items were deferred to the following week for final action.
