The delay was proposed by Councilwoman Furworth, who said the council should not sign off on a final plat that could bind the city and the association to terms that are "not aligned" or accepted by all legally cited parties. "It would be in the city's best interest at this point to move to postpone this final plat approval, until a future date, pending that all the parties that are legally involved . . . have reached agreement," Furworth said.
