Severs noted Dixon Construction submitted the lowest bid at $974,948.95 and that the bid included required bond and paperwork.
Supervisor Bittinger moved to receive and then to award the bid to Dixon Construction; Supervisor Dietrich seconded. The board voted unanimously, 5-0, to award the contract. Severs noted the winning bid was about 15% lower than the county—s estimate.
The board directed the County Engineer to proceed with review and contract processing and return any required documents for formal execution. No protest or irregularity was announced on the record.
