The Gadsden Independent School District board voted to award the districtwide fire alarm upgrade project (RFP 25-26-148) to Coyote Cabling LLC.

District staff presented the procurement and evaluation process and said bidders were assessed on technical data and price. "We bring forth the recommendation for Coyote Cabling LLC to do the project on all 4 schools," the presenter said. The project sites named in the presentation included Loma Linda Elementary, Riverside Elementary and Santa Teresa High School (Riverside was listed twice in the presentation transcript and district staff provided the list during the meeting).

A board member moved to accept the recommendation; the motion carried by voice vote and the contract award was approved.

District staff will now finalize contracting steps and return to the board if additional approvals or budget adjustments are required.
