Twinsburg board approves staff hires, CVCC reimbursements and district goals; inventory deletions cleared

The Twinsburg Board of Education approved a package of consent and action items including staff hires, inventory deletions, and payments intended to support career-technical education.
On the motion of Missus Hamilton, seconded by Missus Travis, the board accepted certified staff recommendations, classified staff recommendations and supplemental-contract recommendations as presented, contingent on satisfactory Ohio Revised Code background checks. The roll call recorded all voting members present and the motion passed without recorded dissent.
Under new business the board approved deletion of media-center and high-school department materials from district inventory per the attached exhibits. The board approved reimbursements totaling $30,000 from the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center (CVCC) for career-technical education foundational course materials at Chamberlain Middle School and Twinsburg High School and $4,000 for middle school career-connections supplies; meeting materials state the funds will support CTE foundational courses and STEM activities for fiscal year 2026.
The board also acknowledged district support organizations in accordance with board policy 9211, including the Twinsburg City School District Council PTA, individual building PTAs, athletic and music boosters and the Twinsburg Schools Foundation. Members then approved district transportation hours and the district goals for the 2025–26 school year.
