Jared said the city has kept time‑and‑materials logs in public works but those are not routed daily to city hall; he will coordinate to include the data in quarterly accounting updates. Staff also reported the city received only one bid for a clerk‑of‑the‑works contract at about $300,000 and are exploring negotiated or modified scopes to lower up‑front costs.
An attendee asked whether the city is tracking daily costs; staff confirmed public works keeps daily logs and that Courthouse Road expenditures will appear in Q3 and Q4 accounting updates. Staff projected the courthouse construction itself could begin as late as January 2028, giving staff time to complete design, bidding and oversight preparations.
Committee members did not take formal action; staff said they will return with a Q3 report and any proposed modifications to the developer agreement.
