The mayor has asked commission members to file reappointment applications; staff said members should complete and return the forthcoming reappointment paperwork if they wish to continue serving. The commission also agreed to schedule a retreat before the end of the year with a proposed focus on windows and a shared approach to reviewing window replacements and materials.
Commissioners discussed how zoning changes historically were handled neighborhood-by-neighborhood and underscored the value of a citywide rewrite. Staff encouraged members to share the advisory-committee announcement and recommended broad participation from across the community.
