A selection committee reporting to the Logansport City Board of Public Works and Safety recommended a consultant to prepare the Safe Streets for All (SS4A) Safety Action Plan Development Project and the board moved to accept the recommendation contingent on execution of a satisfactory SS4A grant agreement.
According to the committee presentation, the review process began with responses submitted by firms, then interviews narrowed the field to two finalists: American StructurePoint and McKinley Thorne. The committee reported that, after interviews and scoring, it submitted a recommendation to the board. The presenter stated the committee members included the presenter plus Levi Jones, Aaron Shaffer and Chad Hassett.
A motion to accept the selection committee’s recommendation and to enter into a contract following a satisfactory SS4A grant agreement was made and seconded. When the board called the question, Levi Jones recorded a yes vote and Jacob Bonsall recorded a yes vote.
The recommendation is contingent on a satisfactory SS4A grant agreement; the transcript does not include contract execution or additional terms for the scope of work.
