Council approves multiple code amendments on fences, accessory buildings, mobile vendors, parking and animal protections

MORAINE, Ohio — During its Oct. 23 meeting, Moraine City Council approved a package of second-reading ordinances that amend several sections of the Moraine Codified Ordinances.

The ordinances approved on second reading addressed fence language and standards for accessory buildings and uses in residential, conservation, business and industrial districts; an addition governing mobile food vendors; rules permitting a gravel pad in side or rear yards for parking as described in an exhibit; and expanded language under Section 505.08 related to cruelty to animals.
