Carrie Strainingen, acting city engineer, presented pay application No. 3 and change order No. 2 for the Fire Station No. 6 reconstruction project.
"Work completed to date includes concrete footing, footers and pads, foundation walls and insulation, the storm sewer material delivery, submittals and erosion control," Strainingen said. She said Change Order No. 2 covers a lighting modification as well as scope changes and additional storm sewer and steel work. She recommended approval of pay application No. 3 in the amount of $264,475.25 and change order No. 2 in the amount of $15,989, and asked that $13,919.75 be placed in escrow as retainage.
A board member moved to approve pay application No. 3 and change order No. 2 for Fire Station No. 6; a second followed and the board approved the motion by voice vote. The transcript records the verbal "Aye" and the chair stated, "Motion carries."
