Major Hood reported to the Lebanon Board of Works on Oct. 27 that the Lebanon Police Department responded to 764 calls for service between Oct. 14 and the meeting date. He said officers filed 40 crash reports and made 15 arrests, with charges listed in the meeting record as: two for operating while intoxicated; four for driving while suspended; one for domestic battery; one on a warrant; three for dealing methamphetamine; two for possession of marijuana; one for resisting law enforcement; and one for child exploitation.
Hood also told the board that, due to fall breaks, the department had no training to report for that period and that the department had sent zero gun-permit applications to the state for final approval. He concluded the report and invited questions; none were raised in the meeting transcript.
The figures were presented as department totals by Major Hood and appear in the official meeting record. The board offered no further direction on the items Hood presented.
