Resident urges Creve Coeur to commission deer survey, citing safety concerns

Claire said past measures — including limited bow hunting for properties of one acre or more — have not addressed the problem in her neighborhood (Ward 2, Conway Road). She recounted seeing three deer standing in the middle of Conway Road after returning from dinner and said snow-season surveys or thermal drones could provide better counts than the older on-foot or manned-aircraft options.
Council did not take formal action on the request during the meeting; the item was recorded as public comment and not part of the agenda.
