Creve Coeur City Council members unanimously approved a package of final-reading ordinances addressing conditional use permits, exterior lighting, records protections, local offenses and a MoDOT agreement.
The council adopted Ordinance (Bill No. 6187) allowing a conditional use permit for Capriotti’s sandwich shop at 12536 Olive Boulevard (Unit B) in the Questover Shopping Center. Council members voted "aye" in roll call to approve the permit.
Council also approved Bill No. 6188, amending a prior ordinance to authorize a conditional use permit for Missouri American Water Company at 9989 Old Olive Street Road. During discussion staff noted exterior finish options; the ordinance allows either a brick-like exterior or, if infeasible, a complementary-colored coating. The measure passed unanimously.
Bill No. 6189, establishing additional exterior lighting requirements under zoning code section 405.68, passed on final reading after staff summarized the changes and members heard supportive public comment.
The council approved Bill No. 6190, amending sections of the open meetings and records ordinance to restrict disclosure of certain park registration information so juvenile applicants’ details are not publicly available, and Bill No. 6191, amending Section 200 addressing offenses concerning the administration of justice. Both measures passed with unanimous "aye" votes.
Traffic regulations were amended by passage of Bill No. 6192, designating the west side of Mary Meadows Lane from Olive Boulevard through the cul-de-sac as no parking. Police and staff answered questions before unanimous approval.
Finally, the council approved Bill No. 6193: a Carbon Reduction Program (CRP) agreement with the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) (CRP project CRP4900651...) to extend the Centennial Greenway shared-use pathway from Research Boulevard to I-67/US 67. Staff described the agreement as an intergovernmental arrangement; council voted to enter the agreement unanimously.
Each ordinance was approved on final reading by roll-call "aye" votes from council members present.
