Generator replacement and fire pump removal design (Item 5) — The committee approved a professional services contract with Smiths, DeGaul & Associates for engineering design and construction administration for generator replacement and removal of the fire pump at City Hall Annex 1; total $23,700. Staff said the work will be funded from facility renewal and that the fire pump could be eliminated because city pressure is sufficient; a new fire-department connection on Fifth Street will be added and generator will be natural gas. Motion passed by voice vote.
JCG Technology renewal (Item 6) — The committee approved a one-year renewal not to exceed $1,800 with JCG Technology for management of the SuiteOne Media platform that handles agendas, synopses, minutes and meeting recordings. The contract terms and services remain unchanged from the prior vendor BIS Digital, which was acquired by JCG. Motion passed by voice vote.
