The Delaware County Board of Commissioners on Oct. 6 approved multiple routine and ceremonial resolutions. All listed votes below passed by unanimous vote unless noted.
- Resolution 25-795: Approve electronic record of proceedings from the Oct. 2, 2025 regular meeting. Vote: Jeff Benton (aye), Barb Lewis (aye), Gary Merrill (aye).
- Resolution 25-796: Approve purchase orders, advance certificates and payments of warrants in batch CM APR1003 and memo transfers in batch MTR1003. Vote: Jeff Benton (aye), Barb Lewis (aye), Gary Merrill (aye).
- Resolution 25-797: Recognize October 2025 as Youth Justice Action Month in Delaware County. County juvenile justice representatives spoke in support; commissioners approved the proclamation. Vote: Jeff Benton (aye), Barb Lewis (aye), Gary Merrill (aye).
- Resolution 25-798: Recognize and commemorate the 80th anniversary of National Disability Employment Awareness Month. Christine Hodge, superintendent of the Delaware County Board of Developmental Disabilities, introduced Courtney Hines, outreach advocate, who addressed commissioners. The proclamation passed. - Resolution 25-799: Approve facility permit for Sentaro to use the large meeting room at Bixby in December for a $25 flat fee. Vote: Jeff Benton (aye), Barb Lewis (aye), Gary Merrill (aye).
- Resolution 25-800: Approve annual permit for the Veterans Services office to hold Veterans Day ceremony on the front plaza (Nov. 11). Vote: Jeff Benton (aye), Barb Lewis (aye), Gary Merrill (aye).
- Resolution 25-802: Establish new fund and organization key, approve advance of funds, supplemental appropriations, and transfer of appropriations for JFS, juvenile court programs, and cybersecurity projects in the data center. Vote: Jeff Benton (aye), Barb Lewis (aye), Gary Merrill (aye).
- Resolution 25-805: Approve nine right-of-way work permits. Vote: Jeff Benton (aye), Barb Lewis (aye), Gary Merrill (aye).
- Resolution 25-806: Motion to return to executive session for consideration of purchase of property for public purposes and for pending or imminent litigation. Vote: Jeff Benton (aye), Barb Lewis (aye), Gary Merrill (aye).
Each of the above items was moved, seconded and carried by recorded aye votes from the three commissioners.
