Andrew Demas, assistant director of development services, told commissioners the PUD proposes smaller lots and adjusted setbacks compared with the UDC and that staff found the request consistent with the city comprehensive plan, the area development plan and the future land-use map. "This case satisfies not only the review criteria established in the UDC for planned unit developments specifically, but also it is consistent with the comp plan," Demas said.
