Goodhue County commissioners on Oct. 7 approved a purchase agreement to sell Outlot A at Lake Billsby West Platte to Mr. and Mrs. Robertson for $700 and accepted an administrative replat to combine the Robertson‑owned lot with the county parcel.
Staff said the board authorized staff in July to proceed with the sale and that the parties prepared a plat to combine two platted properties by administrative replat. The drafted purchase agreement reflects a $700 sale price, and a $100 earnest deposit had already been paid. Staff noted signatures are required from several officials including the county chair, county land surveyor and county recorder; the Robertsons must obtain lender approval and sign their portion of the plat.
A motion to approve the purchase agreement and accept the plat was moved and seconded, and the board approved the sale by voice vote. Staff said the sale completes a process first discussed earlier in the year.
