Staff reported the Heritage Center roof replacement has been completed and that the county has funds remaining from a $100,000 allocation made last year that can be applied to additional remodel work at the facility.

"We have replaced the roof at the Heritage Center that is completed," staff said, and added that they will bring pricing for proposed remodel work once quotes are obtained.

Staff also reported they are determining ownership and maintenance responsibilities for two apartment properties, saying there were previously some memoranda of understanding (MOUs) and that formal ownership needs to be confirmed before final decisions are made. Staff said the county has performed much of the maintenance work to date but that the legal ownership and funding responsibility must be clarified.

Commissioners asked about interior damage, a potential wheelchair ramp and other remodel components; staff said they will gather quotes and return with specific recommendations and costs.
