The Hastings Public School District showcased a newly acquired Anatomage digital anatomy table at the high school, calling the technology a college‑caliber lab that expands hands‑on learning across multiple science disciplines.

Presenters said the platform is built from digitized real human cadavers and includes 3‑D layered anatomy, radiology scans, histology images, clinical cases and quizzing tools. Students demonstrated tablets that mirror the table’s functions and said the device made lessons more engaging than static images or textbooks.

District presenters credited the Ruth and George Doffing Charitable Fund with providing more than half of the cost; district staff and community partners such as Hastings Community TV helped produce a video demonstration shared during the meeting. Superintendent and board members emphasized the tool’s applicability to health sciences, veterinary and life‑science coursework and said every student should have at least one opportunity to use it during high school.

Board members thanked donors and staff for bringing the technology to Hastings and noted community events where the device will be showcased.
