Commission approves final plat splitting Lot 2 of Fermi Subdivision, advances to Board of Aldermen

The Planning & Zoning Commission approved the final plat for Lot 2 of the Fermi Subdivision at 2165 West Osage Street and will forward the recommendation to the Board of Aldermen.
GBA staff told commissioners the proposed subdivision meets the standards in the city code and recommended approval. Applicant Ed Jittermeier said he intends to sell the building and the newly created front lot once the plat is recorded: “I don’t have nothing to add except that we’re trying to sell the building and that the lot in the front, we’re gonna put up for sale afterwards,” Jittermeier said.
Commissioner Weimer moved for approval; the motion was seconded and passed 6–0. The item is scheduled for the next Board of Aldermen meeting.
