District 300 board approves agenda, consent items and out-of-district travel; votes to enter closed session

Finally, the board moved, seconded and voted to go into closed session to discuss: (1) the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees; (2) collective negotiation matters and salary schedules; (3) litigation; and (4) security procedures, building safety and security and use of personnel to respond to potential dangers to students, staff or property. The chair said the board would go into closed session "with no action to follow."
