The board separately approved a second Cochran Engineering agreement for the McKinley Avenue project (also from Wabash to Florida) with an administration amount cited as $60,372. That ordinance (Bill No. 47‑25) also passed 6–0.
Public Works staff said the contracts will allow the city to publish the projects for bids and proceed with inspections and construction oversight. No contractor selections or construction contracts were approved at the meeting; these were professional‑services agreements for engineering administration only.
