City approves temporary picnic license for Oct. 25 Harvest Festival

The Olivette City Council on Oct. 14 approved a temporary picnic (picnic) license for the Harvest Festival scheduled Oct. 25 at Warson Park.
Beverly Tucker Knight, parks and recreation director, told council Fallon's will operate the concessions and sell beer, wine and canned cocktails under the temporary license. "This is a recommendation to approve a temporary picnic license for the annual harvest festival at Warson Park," Knight said.
Council voted in favor with Council member Lewis, Council member Pashawn Hellman and Mayor Clark voting yes. The motion passed.
The picnic license is limited to the festival event and does not alter permanent liquor licenses for businesses elsewhere in the city.
