The Alpine School District Board of Education approved Resolution 2025-015 authorizing a public utility easement for a cell tower at Cedar Valley High School.
Superintendent Smith told the board the easement would encompass about 0.081 acres and involve roughly a 10-foot easement. The district recommended the board approve the easement to allow installation of the facility.
Board member Julie King moved the resolution and Board member Bateman seconded. The board approved the measure by voice vote; the motion was announced as unanimous.
The resolution authorizes the district to execute an easement between Alpine School District and Rocky Mountain Power; the board did not discuss contractual terms, lease rates or a construction timetable during the public meeting.
