Brunswick board hears construction update on new high school; timeline unchanged for May 2027 move‑in

Scott Ollman, the project architect and project manager with Den Design Architecture, and Derek Similia, construction manager with Hammond Construction, told the Brunswick Board of Education on Oct. 21 that construction of the new Brunswick High School is on schedule and proceeding through major structural milestones.
The presentation outlined recent progress and near‑term work. The construction team reported about 255,000 of roughly 423,000 concrete masonry units (CMU) had been laid in the first four and a half months of masonry work, foundations required a little over 2,000 cubic yards of concrete, and total concrete volume for the project is about 5,800 cubic yards.
