Council appoints members to Tourism Commission and Airport Advisory Board

The council approved a slate of board appointments during the Oct. 27 meeting. Staff reported two vacancies on the Mexico Tourism Commission and recommended appointment of Paul Gillette Sr.; council moved to appoint Gillette and the motion passed by unanimous roll call.
For the Mexico Airport Advisory Board, staff recommended reappointment of Russell Runge, Mark Stewart and Roger Dubert to three-year terms; council approved those reappointments by unanimous vote. Staff noted a separate term question for another member and said they would follow up to provide additional information.
